Carnegie Mellon Professor Randy Pausch (Oct. 23, 1960 - July 25, 2008) gave his last lecture at the university Sept. 18, 2007, before a packed McConomy Auditorium. In his moving presentation, "Really Achieving Your Childhood Dreams," Pausch talked about his lessons learned and gave advice to students on how to achieve their own career and personal goals. honestly..Randy Pausch has to be one of the most inspiring humans ever to live. To think, that even after learning that he had only a certain period of time to live, he took it all in stride (more or less) and didn't do anything different with his life...he was totally happy with what he already had. I can only hope that i'll be that graceful and sinple about my own death...it makes me think...about (cheesy) the meaning of life...it seems as if he really did "live his life to the fullest".

I strongly encourage you to buy his book, it contains most of what is said in the clip. However, reading the words brings them to even greater levels of personal significance. As you go through your daily life reading the words of this great being.
