The Bulls came out & TOTALLY dismantled the Sonics in this game. They pounded them virtually ALL game long. Barring a barrage of defense & offense displayed by the Sonics in the 3rd quarter, in which the Sonics outscored the Bulls 23-13 to "Somewhat" get back in it, the Bulls Blitzed them right off the court. The 3-headed monster for the Bulls (MJ, Pip & Rodman) did their thing, but Kukoc & Longley stepped up "BIG" in this rout..

Most kobe fans here on YouTube, as I've found on other sites, are just flat out dumb, incredibly ignorant & uninformed about the game itself.
I talk ALL THE TIME with kids who are REAL FANS of the sport & they're VERY informed. I have the UTMOST respect for that.
But from my experiences with kobe fans, the OVERWHELMING majority I run across, are just flat out idiots. U spend more time educating 'em about what kobe has actually DONE, but yet, he's SUPPOSED to be their favorite player.

All I have to say is 3 out of Chicago's 12 losses that year came in the hands of Seattle. If GP (the greatest player in Seattle history) doesn't fold defensively against the Triangle this would have been a 7 game series.
Bulls were superior, but don't dismiss Seattle like they were some chumps. In the decade of the 90's only 1 other theam had a better record than Seattle... Guess who that was?

That TELLS me, they are or I should say, WERE indeed a worthy foe. I think that Seattle team would run roughshod over MOST of the teams in the league now..especially if they were allowed to play defense the way they did under the old defensive rules..

Well I don't think that making it to the finals already makes you a good team. Look at the Lakers' three peat run. I think the East opponents were very very weak back then. Especially Philly and New Jersey.

I don't say they totally sucked but everybody knows that the Eastern Conference was VERY weak in those days. You don't want to argue that do you ? It was well known that the team who wins the Western Conference would be the World Champions after that. So the "real" finals were Lakers-Blazers and Lakers-Kings. The new rise of the Eastern Conference came with the Pistons and then with the Shaqed-up Heat.
